About Caroline Minchin

Caroline is a highly experienced early years educator who has been teaching and involved in early years settings in Birmingham for over 30 years. Throughout her extensive career, she has worked as a Foundation Stage lead in an ‘outstanding’ primary school and as a lead teacher in an ‘outstanding’ nursery school, holding multiple teaching and leadership roles. With a wealth of on-the-ground experience, she has supported practice in schools and nurseries. In addition to consultancy work, she was selected to work as one of the DFE  Early Years Experts supporting nursery settings. She had had the privilege of working alongside a team of nursery school heads as part of their peer review process. As a trustee of a large children's centre and community project, with two P.V.I. nurseries, she has a deep understanding of the sector.  Caroline's strong passion for early years education is evident in everything she does. She keeps herself up-to-date on current thinking and research and has recently achieved a distinction in her Master’s degree in Early Years Education. With her vast experience and knowledge, Caroline is a confident and capable early years educator.
